§03Documents

What you’ll upload

e-renty verifies every renter. You upload the documents in your account after booking.

  1. ID card or residence permit, front and back
  2. A selfie
  3. Proof of address
  4. Business registration certificate, if you have one (optional)

You don’t need a registered business to rent: a valid ID card or residence permit and proof of address are enough. If you work as a sole trader (egyéni vállalkozó) or through a fleet partner, it’s worth uploading your business registration too. A driving licence is only needed for vehicles that legally require one; the C29 with 25 km/h assist does not.

§04Steps

From booking to pickup

  1. Plan

    Choose Basic, Plus or Max on the C29’s e-renty.com page.

  2. Payment

    Pay the first month (or the whole term upfront) and the 20,000 Ft deposit.

  3. Verification

    Upload your documents in your account.

  4. Contract

    Sign the PDF contract digitally in your account.

  5. Time slot

    Book a pickup slot at the depot.

  6. Pickup

    Staff hand the bike over and you’re off.

§05Service

If something breaks

Report the fault to e-renty. The bike goes to a certified repair partner, and the repair is usually done within 24–48 hours. Where possible you get a replacement bike in the meantime; on Max you always do, plus priority repair and tire puncture coverage.

§06Pickup

Pickup and return

You book a pickup slot and staff hand the bike over at an e-renty depot. Returns work the same way, in person; they can’t be started online.

§07Businesses

Several bikes for one company

Companies rent through the business signup, with no deposit. A fleet discount applies above a certain number of bikes, and contracts can run for up to 24 months.
